(there are so many books that I would have rather seen on this list... A Tree Grows in Brooklyn; Beloved; Cold Sassy Tree; The Decamaron; Don Quixote; Any of the Anne Rice books; Mary Shelley's Frankenstein...  but whatevs.. still a great list for the most part - a good mix of pop culture, "new classics" and classical literature.)  It would be nice to see some nonfiction on here too.  Thoughts?

direct link to Playing For Change. If you're interested in buying the music (digital OR CD), go through the site directly. It's cheaper than iTunes, and the money goes directly to the company, rather than through middlemen.

Yeah, the title pretty much sums it up.  The last week or so has been filled with more administrative projects than I'd like to admit - contracts, concept approvals.  It's part and parcel with "the biz," but having to do multiple admin tasks is never a fun time.  The biggest problem is getting everything straight... for one task, we just need the EDC (Executive Deputy Commissioner Clearance) for approval.  For another, we need the EDC and the B-1184 Attachment B... and then once those are approved (separately), there is the CRER and the DOH-2333.

Bureaucracy, what?

Anyway, funny thing about this AM..went to check the weather to find out when the thunderstorms were going to hit (yay, thunder)... weather.com thinks that today is a great time to learn how to snowboard.

weather oops2

Well, it's almost time to get going.. suppose I should get dressed... blah.
